According to AMD's recently updated roadmap, the chipmaker plans to jump from a 6-core chip (Istanbul) to 12 cores (Magny-Cours) in 2010, killing earlier plans to release 8-core processors.

A local news station in Frankenmuth, Michigan, has put up a poll asking if the city should remove the cross from the city shield. Little did they suspect the power of the internet at large. Vote for them to remove it!
