Single Mothers:The Power Of One

More and more children are growing up in families with just one parent, but what are the long-term effects? Who are single mothers these days? How do their children fare? According to the latest Social Trends report, issued by the office for National Statistics, 24 per cent of children are now growing up in one-parent families.

Diary time again. Wednesday afternoon, I ended up doing something I had never done before, and the only reason was because the Pope was visiting America. One man against the whole legal apparatus of the Watchtower Society is facing a hard road but there is a chance here for some amount of accountability. Devina Mehra of First Global said the markets are not out of the woods yet. "Global markets correct for 2-3 years after rallies. It is difficult to predict the short-term trend but we are not very positive for the long-term."
